Debra McGrath (ditzy socialite Reenie Bigelow) is also known for her comic timing. McGrath started working with the renowned Second City Toronto group in the early 80s. At Second City, McGrath met many fellow comedians, including Colin Mochrie, who she would later marry. (Mochrie is well known for his work alongside Kathy Greenwood on Whose Line Is It Anyway, as well as his appearances on shows such as This Hour Has 22 Minutes.)
McGrath has had a number of television roles, including regular spots on Paradise Falls and Little Mosque on the Prairie.
Along with Kathy Greenwood, Robin Duke, Jayne Eastwood and Teresa Pavlinek, she co-founded the comedy troupe Women Fully Clothed in 2003. She toured with the group until 2009.
McGrath played a minor role on Wind at My Back, but it was ensemble characters like hers that brought important texture and levity to the show.
