Who could forget Clive Pettibone? He may be the only man in Avonlea to match Hetty King’s stern, no-nonsense approach to life. When Clive brings his family to Avonlea in season four, the town’s new teacher and his children Izzy, Morgan, and Arthur, quickly become part of the community.

Avonlea fans might recognize Season 2 guest star Madeline Kahn, who played Sara Stanley’s Pigeon Plumtree in season 2's “It’s Just a Stage”. Plumtree, a world-famous actress, causes chaos while visiting Avonlea when she gets caught up in a love triangle gone wrong.  Kahn’s performance is as touching as it is hilarious.

We are remembering Canadian stage and television actor John Neville today, after hearing of his passing over the weekend.
