If you’re looking to take your kids to a movie, there’s been an abundance of family-friendly films that have premiered this summer.  A list of the summer’s most appropriate 10 were recently listed by Hillary Bowler of Desert News.  Here’s her list of options, followed by some suggestions from Sullivan Entertainment’s own movie library.

Did you know there is a fantastic family film in the Sullivan Entertainment library starring three of Road to Avonlea’s biggest actors?  Zachary Bennett (Felix King), Gema Zamprogna (Felicity King) and Michael Mahonen (Gus Pike) all star in By Way of the Stars, a Gemini Award-nominated film produced by Kevin Sullivan.

Not too long ago, we revealed the sources of inspiration that led to the production of the award-winning series, Wind at My Back.  One of these sources was the memoirs of Canadian writer Max Braithwaite, who wrote about his time growing up in a Canadian family during the first quarter of the 20th century.
