1930's Fashion in Photos

One of the main elements of Wind at My Back that viewers pick up on is the authenticity of the costumes.  Although the 1930’s was the era of the Great Depression, it was also a fascinating time for women's fashion.  Costume designer Ruth Secord paid special attention to the smallest details and social norms of the period while creating outfits for the show.

Interview: How to Find Anne Apparel

Recently, we posted a fantastic collection of Anne-themed fashion pieces that are currently in style.  This selection of apparel, hats and accessories was put together by Hilary Kearney, the writer behind the blog If Zombies Were Supermodels, We'd Be Them.  We interviewed Hilary and she was nice enough to explain how she collects these pieces that are “so Green Gables”, as well as provide tips on how to find them yourself!

Behind-the-Scenes of Anne's Wedding

Here is our interview with makeup artist Michelle Cudmore, who worked on the beautiful Anne-inspired wedding photo shoot we have posted.  Along with other wedding vendors, Michelle was handpicked by Rachel Peters, of Rachel Peters Photography, to help her create her vision.  Luckily, Michelle is both a talented artist and an authentic Anne fan.
