The books were created by Kevin Sullivan, with the aid of educational consultants, to expand upon the lessons taught in the Anne Animated television series, as seen on PBS.  Each one comes with a dictionary at the back – to clarify any of Anne’s tricky vocabulary – as well as great visuals. 

The books provide lessons about problems that all children may encounter.  Anne and The Bully tackles the issue of peer pressure within schools, while Anne’s Red Hair helps children learn that being different from others can be a positive thing.
